This book is life changing.
For quite sometime I have been trying to become my best self and improve who I am as a person. Through this process, I struggled with actually feeling fulfilled and finding my purpose. I knew I was on the road to wanting better for myself, but I couldn't pin-point what it was I actually needed in order to feel that. I came across this book and have been working through each mile with intent and it has been COMPLETELY LIFE CHANGING.
It helped me FINALLY figure out what it was that I needed to do in order find peace within myself and how to be the best mother, friend, daughter, sister..etc.

I can't say enough how beneficial this study has been for me.
I'm currently on Mile 10 of Unravel and I feel like I've already seen many positive changes in my life. I originally decided to join a group and work through this study b/c I felt like I was struggling with several aspects from my past. The really awesome thing I'm realizing is that making peace with my past is not only helping me with those inner conflicts, but it's also helping me to be a better parent to my son. I can't say enough how beneficial this study has been for me. I'm excited to continue with the rest of it and I'll be back to update my review at that time. No matter how great life is, I don't think there's anyone out there with a perfect life who doesn't have some type of struggle. I think this book would be beneficial for pretty much everyone! 🙂 If you're looking to make positive changes in your life and find more peace, you should definitely do this study! - Sam
Unravel is a true Work Book.
If you've never intentionally faced yourself because you simply didn't know how, this is the perfect book. Backed up by scripture and stories it creates a safe place to take a journey to healing With God. If you have been through any kind of recovery/ healing process, you know there will always be work to do. Garages have a way of filling back up with junk. So do we. It's a perfect book to check in and see what you may be holding onto. I love that it can be done in a group or individually. I especially love the scripture woven so beautifully throughout the book. The thought, work , and love put into this book really shine through the pages ❤

There’s so many uplifting scriptures in here, or to mention the way it is written. Have your bible ready and a box or 2 of tissues!!! Be ready to be honest with yourself to UNRAVEL yourself for some much needed healing and to come closer in your walk with Christ! Will definitely recommend this book to my friends, family and to use in one of my bible study groups!

I’ve known for years about some inner struggles that have been living rent free within since childhood. My fears morphed into anger and irritability, eventually wearing the name tags of Depression and Anxiety. They robbed me of so much throughout the years! So much pain to myself and my loved ones… the content in this book helped me truly understand the destructive nature of my own thoughts. This is a workbook (emphasis on WORK). It will challenge you, push you to dig deep, and help you to uncover things you didn’t even realize were hiding underneath all the junk inside. Pride was my big epiphany; surprise! The tools in Unravel will help you discover the good and the bad, then it lays out a path to find personal healing. We could all use some of that lately! Melissa also connects you with relevant scripture. No matter what your relationship with God looks like, it will become stronger after reading this book. My favorite part is in one of the last miles… it still moves me to tears. One last note: the power of this book is exponential when worked in a group setting. To share your story with others is scary at first, but so worth the lasting connections you will make with the group. I have read/listened tons of "self-help books" over the years. Most of them were great but to "fluffy", not enough action and actual things I could do NOW until Unravel!! FINALLY!! I finally see myself in a NEW LIGHT! This book guided me learn more about who i truly am and why i have/had struggles in the past. It finally makes sense! I love how Melissa shares REAL ways to deal with pain, abuse, shame, and fear. She tells you HOW to actually deal with it, She doesn't just say "let it go" or "move on". Confidence in myself has improved TONS!!This book is beautifully constructed and deeply thought provoking.

I find myself asking God daily since starting this book, to help me "dig the ditches" needed to really UNRAVEL the weights I too have been carrying for so long. This is biblically based in a way that brings it into modern day practicality. A short bible story or reference along with modern day understandings of the human psyche. I am grateful for the opportunity to really work through this book and see in what ways it "unravels" me. Yes, it was hard work on my part, but with your guidance and support I was successful. I was able to connect with God by allowing Him into my life and heart.
